How the Tracking System Works
1. Digital Identity for Every Roll & Batch
- Each fabric roll and batch gets a unique digital ID via barcode or RFID tag.
- Tags are applied at the earliest practical stage (e.g., grey fabric output, yarn/fabric inwards, or first production operation).
2. Scanning at Every Handoff Point
Scanners (handheld or fixed) are installed at all key production and logistics points, such as:
- Loom / knitting machine output
- Dyehouse entry and exit
- Processing / finishing
- Quality check (inline and final)
- Packing
- Dispatch / loading bay
At each scan, the system automatically records:
- Timestamp (exact date & time)
- Order / style / buyer reference
- Quantity (meters, kgs, rolls, pieces)
